Starving Artist Program | St.Art

We know emerging artists just don’t have the money it takes to consult with an entertainment lawyer early in their careers but, we believe it is extremely important.  For that reason, we offer the Starving Artist Program (St.Art). The program is designed provide artists and bands with some early advice and provide an open channel of communication for advice as you grow.  Here’s what is included in the program:

  • One two-hour meeting with Music, Media, and Entertainment Lawyer Todd Murphy to discuss your goals and brainstorm about your career;
  • A review of any documents you may currently be operating under such as a management agreement or partnership agreement;
  • A review and comment on your business plan (should incorporate your goals, a time-line, budget, and action items);
  • A second two-hour follow-up meeting to review and finalize your business plan;
  • 10 one-hour telephone conferences to review progress toward your goals;
  • Unlimited telephone access to answer day-to-day questions;
  • Inclusion in client-only email updates;
  • Invitations to special seminars and networking events hosted by The Jazz Lawyer;
  • Access to other professionals in the music industry who may be able to assist you.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The St.Art Program in no way includes Demo or Song Shopping.

 

The cost for the Starving Artist Program is $495 which may be payable in installments tailored to your budget.
