How many of the "greats" would have made it DIY. The Rolling Stones, no way..The Beatles" maybe, The Doors, no way. Pink Floyd maybe but I doubt it, The Who maybe, Hendrix nope, Janis nope, Elvis nope, I actually have a hard time thinking of any of the greats that would have made it in todays DIY model.

No amount of money can buy good music and these boys are getting hotter by the day...their music style is unique, the harmony is bone chilling at times and seem to surprise me with every song...the horns, the electric banjo, ...and americans love the accent. Their versatality also joins them with many very unique bands...they are going to be the hottest new band of the century...

Yeah, it seems to work. I am all in for trying out this site, since it has so far been absolutely free.( I like my rade to the top to be without costs in dolares...). I have made it to Spotify, without paying a dime....

Now I am adding music videos to Fargo. ( Some very strange spamming / need not be connected to them / can occur after the upload, but otherwise I think it works....)

I'm not on spotify, but how is this any different from a service like Pandora, or Last.fm? Both have seemingly already been filling the same role as spotify for years now.

There's a limit to how much originality money can buy. Mumford and Sons have a great sound and songs. I live in Geneva, Switzerland, and just down the road along the lake where the wealthy reside (not in the shacks amongst the woods like the rest of us) lives a billionaire with a hot wife. With a no 1 UK song to her credit as a writer (a girl band took it there) she's no stanger to the music scene. Last year she brought out her first album in Switzerland and it died very quickly. With all the backing. Good slots at some big music festivals. Plenty of cash and influence etc. Because it was plain and boring. So a bit of daddy's money and influence can help but you do need the quality to get anywhere and to stay on the air.
